Nicely done

This is a very light weight (7kb) world/timezone clock. All you need to do is add the cities and their timezone offsets into the xml file and upload. You don’t even need to open the flash file.
You can also customize how many rows and columns, size of the resizable vector analog clock, and the x and y distance between the clocks. If the city, state, or country that you are using uses daylight savings time, you can set the start and end dates so it is never wrong. It has a black face, white hour and minute hands, and a red second hand, but are easily customized in the flash file. There is a sun icon to signify am and a moon for pm. All of the actionscript is self contained so you can use it on its own or drag and drop it into your existing project.

Is the “LOCAL” time clock set from actionscript, the users PC, or IP address? IP would be cool.
Posted 4 months ago
The local time is from the user’s PC. You can set the show local variable to false if you don’t want it. Pulpowski, you should buy it so you can add istanbul!
can i display only one clock ? or must be show all clock on preview ?
Can i change backgroung trought XML around face clock and can i change face trought XML (as i set-up in XML images as background ?
Its possible make one ?

You can allow as few or as many clocks as you want. You can’t change the clock bg with xml.

nicely done.
From where you are getting the time for other clocks? I’m asking this…because, in some countries they have to change the timings according to their season..

bugsis, please email and I could do that as a custom job. benny, it does account for daylight savings times. You just put in the start and end date and how it is affected (back or forward). That way you don’t have to modify it every time the time changes.

One question:
How to you set a time for example for Delhi, India which is GMT +5.30
I tried Delhi, India Delhi, Indiawith no success.
I have a few clients there so it would be nice if I could show their local time
Oops seems like my xml tags were stripped.
here is what I tried:
timeZoneOffset=”5.30” >Delhi, India timeZoneOffset=”5:30” >Delhi, India
of course within the clock tags
I updated this file to make a 1/2 hour offset work. You would use 5.5, not 5:30. Thanks everyone for your comments and 5 star ratings!

fonts are corrupt upon previewing – is there any quick fix for this? thanks people.

I guess I am not seeing what you are seeing. Are you just talking about the preview above and saying the fonts don’t show up for you? Does anyone else see this?

Great job! I would like to know if it’s possible to optimize the output when resizing all clocks to 50px … i need to push 5 clocks in a website header…
Thanks!

Are you just asking if you can resize them? If so, yes, you can do that right in the xml.

@dxc381
Yes i’ve already did that, but the output results (images) are not good at 50px.Clock are not readable. Do you have the image in vector format ?

They are vector. Is it that the fonts are just super tiny and therefore hard to read? Email me a screenshot.

I’m not very pleased to find I cannot use this on my intranet because the WMODE function will not work (which I had to try manually via the FLA ).
I'd like to change the font size and make the background transparent. Can anyone customize this thing for me? I'll pay whatever it costs.

I would be happy to help. Your changes seem pretty simple so I won’t charge you, but I don’t work on weekends. I’ll help you out on Monday. Thanks.
