When you hold your cursor over the buttons they grow tall to indicate the active image. If there are more image buttons than fit on your page, then the whole menu scrolls back and forth based on your mouse position. The image loads and determines whether it should base its height on the width or height ratio to make it fullscreen. While the next image is loading the current image gets dark and a preloader pops up. Hold your cursor over the caption and it will scroll upward so you can read the details. If there is no caption, there will be no caption button.

You don’t need Flash to be able to use this file. Everything you need to edit is in the xml.

You can customize the color of the buttons, text, maximum and minimum button height, button width, active button height, caption and caption colors. The entire file is just 11kb.

Nice work dxc.One suggestion: You could have made the navigation as a drop-down menu,so they don’t all appear.

I really like but it would be better if the menu would auto hide and if there was categories

really great file!..

one small bug: if you resize the browser window while the new image is loading the caption gets lost.

and I agree with the auto-hide/category feature of the navigation, that would make it even better! maybe v2 ;)

Overall awesome file! Keep Posting!

i love the menu!

it would be fantastic if you could make only the menu as a new file!

I do sell the menu as it’s own file. http://flashden.net/item/xml-easing-menu/14452

something new to me… nice work ;)

This is so cool. I would buy it in a heart beat if the menu was a drop down type thing.

OK, here’s my cheeky request. it would be great to have a version with an auto-hiding menu but when they do pop out, they pop out randomly rather than all together. And it would be great if it loaded swf’s too. I’d pay a tonne for that!

Will it load and display SWF Files as well as images?

What size images are recommended to maintain quality and keeping the image/file size down? (example: 1280×1024 @ 72dpi RGB )

Posted about 1 month ago

i did 1920×1200 72dpi.

hello… i was wondering if there was a way to place image or text on the bottom right corner?

thanks, michael3

Do you mean in the caption box? If so, then yes.

Posted about 1 month ago

Hi, I’m wondering if there is a way to make the caption box always “open”, rather than disappearing after you take your mouse away. Also—can you adjust/customize the caption box size?

TIA

Posted about 1 month ago

The height is based on how much text there is. It would be pretty easy to change it’s width. It would also be pretty easy to change it to always have the caption be up. Email me after you buy it and I will point you in the right direction.

awesome work! Is there a way to make these open a web page along with the picture? like in a seperate frame or window?

Posted about 1 month ago

Yeah. You can make your images a link already.

Posted about 1 month ago

I am unsure how to to that can you help?
