XML Multiple Choice – True/False quiz

This quiz allows you to create a multiple choice and true false question with an unlimited number of questions. It will tally the results at the end and allow the user to retake the questions. It will shuffle all the questions in your XML file and is the base you need to make a quiz that can be both dynamic and fun.

The primary use for this files is to use this “template” to create a quiz with your own style. With this file you have the ability to easily edit the look/style/font/color of the movie clips with the FLA and then republish from your own computer. The template I’ve provided simply shows a possible look and feel you can achieve. Thanks for looking!

UPDATE : I’ve fixed an embed font issue (The font I used in this example is Lithos Pro and is not included in the file). I have also included better instructions on how you can customize this file to fit your needs. Updates submitted on 9/13 8PM EST

Hey guys. Thanks for the feedback. The intention of this file is to provide a template that contains all the necessary pieces to build a quiz in the style that meets your project’s needs. The help file contains specific information as to how to update the graphics and all the relevant movieclips are noted in the FLA . I don’t really stand by the overall design of the quiz, but I think the coding and construction is pretty good.

Good file, is it possible to have different comments at the end of the quiz though? as I purposely entered 5 wrong answers and it still said “GOOD JOB ” at the end, can you add the feature to have different comments for the scores, if so I’d buy it in a shot :)

hey brain – it is not set up, but it could be done pretty easily, based on your percentage score? are you asking me to do it, or wondering if it can be done?

hey question….i have use for this quiz for personality tests (yes and no..questions).

Does your file allow us to assign scores to questions/answers and show the test results based on those scores?

If its not build in and I would like it customized, how much would it cost me?

I love all the features of this and your other quiz scripts…

I would also like to know if there is a version that allows different comments for different sets of scores.

I need to create a personality quiz as well w/ answers a, b, c, d and different feedback if user selects mostly a’s, mostly b’s, ect.

Is it easy to go to score/end of game and restart again in case a wrong answer is given. I do not want to give user the possibility to go on till the end.

A few question;

if you only have 2 or 3 option (where the 2-option alternative is NOT true or false i.e.), will the flash file only “render” the necessary answer buttons, i.e. 2 or 3?

Do you have the possibility to “render” the answer buttons /alternatives vertically (and not in 2 columns as now)?

not without customization of the file. the file will not only render three answers either.
