XML PORTFOLIO SITE W/ IMAGES, VIDS AND MP3 PLAYER

Hi It’s meeeeeeee again.

I shouldn’t have got the parrty hats out so soon as I now have a totally new problem as I am testing it remotely.

The videos do not refresh when selecting a new thumbnail and instead play the same video no matter what you select.

Please advice or shoot me.

I am trying to use your file in my project via the loader component. It doesn’t work that way. It works fine when I test it independently but but when using the loader I get an error saying “Error opening URL followed by the path to your movie. But the path is right.

i tried, as you told me, different ways to insert links in caption field, using CDATA tags, or removing the ”” , but without result.

here is the code in the PICS .XML

(ver.1): …caption=”<![CDATA[<a href= “http://www.test.com”>www.test.com]]>“

Results: Cannot load the PICS .XML and the movie remains only with active buttons ABOUT , CONTACT and the whole scene in black

The only way that the movie can load PICS .XML is when i don’t use ”<” before ”![CDATA[” and before “a href” , but this is not right because the movie brings simply the words ”![CDATA[…”

I thing (if i am not wrong!) that the “Caption field cannot combine CDATA tags because it is defined as” in AS.

i love the architecture of the template, however i want to tone down the design, so i would need to make the following changes.

1) take off the thumbnail blur effect (is that in as or xml?) 2) remove mp3 player 3) move the buttons down to the bottom and put a strip across to make it look like this: http://www.sophiebaudinet.be/

hey man this is one of the best portfolio files i have seen on here…... I am REALLY interested in buying….. just would like to change a few things.

Bear in mind i am a print designer and absolutely rubbish with flash.

1. I would want to remove the music player altogether. 2. Change the background image 3. Add in another section….. pretty much the same as the about section.

sorry if these are really obvious questions, but as noted above… I’m rubbish.

I am so close to buying this! BUT , the photos are automatically resized and will stretch in order to fit the frame. i need them to be exact size! Also, is the video stretched as well and thats why the quality does not look good?

Hi, b4 I buy I’d like to know if and how/where in the flash doc, I could assign loadable .swf’s instead of jpegs? Are the loaded images assigned via text file/xml or directly in action script? I plan on loading various movies in place of where the current pict’s are!

Hi , Flash Junkie, Thanks for making this site it totally nice But I cant get the video an thumbs working what am i doing wrong…? I used the Flash video format. I also tried .mov with the h264 codec
