Ticker has updated with a html style Text, it means you can easily set a colour or an URL link on your Ticker Texts.
This is a Flash XML News Ticker.
You need just paste your Text or Texts in xml file, the Ticker shows all of them in a perfect Loop.
I’ve made this Ticker in two Version, the First One is like a LED Board and the second one is a simple Version.
- In LED Board version, you can change the speed and Background Light Manually on Board.
- Both of Tickers are a MovieClip, you can load them into your Flash Movie and position them in each Pixel of your movie.
- For each Ticker you will find the separate Fla source.

Is it possible to change the size of the news ticker as its a bit too big for what i need it for. Does it come with a photoshop file to change dimensions and colour ?

hi Tony,
Font size can be change in Flash, for a better LED effect it would be better to make the background also smaller, this can be done in photoshop.
I have put 20 lines in the xml file and the ticker text of the LEDTickerBoard becomes jumpy. It doesn’t do this on the XMLNewsTicker. Is there a limit on the amount of text?

There is no limit at all, but when you put 20 Lines into your XML file, it brings to you a great CPU usage and cause the Ticker becomes Jumpy, specialy if you use long Texts, you can test it by braking your Texts to smaller Texts in more nodes, maybe this help you

Ticker is great 
but I will need some upgrade. I need refresh xml every 5 minutes with fresh data. Is that possible?
My ticker is wide so is long time empty when data come from right to left. How show data immediately after loading on entire ticker?

Sounds good, with the new version, if you can put an option to change the background graphic from XML , I will certainly buy the new version.

The Background is only a design! I mean normaly a news Ticker has about 20Pixel height on website, like the main source of my Ticker, the rest part made only for previewing different functionality of main file
But If you need a dynamic Background, let me know after your purchase, i do it for you

If I had a node that more than 1 subnode, how would I get it in there? This is set up to have one child node in each parent node.

Hello,
Is it possible to add more nodes? There is a single node per item in the xml file. How do I set up the AS to read more nodes per item? Anyone else can answer this question too if you know it. Would appreciate some support here! Short on time!
