two questions: 1) this new layout you have for the college locations – is this anew purchase or is it available to existing purchasers of the Dealer Locator? I downloaded another copy of it and its the same… how do i get a copy of the College version

2) the clients I use this for here ( http://www.bella-bling.com/stores.html ) have expressed their need to have just the states their stores are in already highlighted when the page loads – that way the user doesn’t have to scroll over each state to find the stores. can it be set to use the xml ( state id=”40” name=”Rhode Island” ) example as the pointer to highlight the state if there are contents in the xml file such as: ( state=”active” ) before the rest of the state info??

Yes, essentially the states that have the stores will be a slightly darker shade than the rest of the states on the map, making it easier for the user to find a state with a store.

but that is a hard coded example

I guess AS would be better – where it reacts to something like (state id=”1” name=”Alabama” active=”yes”

Hi Rondog, I saw in one of the previous posts that there may be a way to set up an e-mail link on the listing area through the XML and the MCs. I went as far as adding a few extra text boxes for more info but would also like to add an e-mail link to the list. Can you give me a clue as to how this should be done with your map. By the way I love the map, it is exactly what I needed!
