XML Image Slide Show with Sliding Mask Transition
You can load JPEG , PNG, GIF and SWF files into this slide show.
Holds unlimited number of images. A great Banner Rotator!
Play & Pause buttons for slide show control
Image navigation buttons allow you to jump to desired image.
All Buttons fade away and hide when mouse is not active and return on mouse movement.
The image list is built from an external XML file which records your image names and their path location relative to the Slide Show SWF , making this slide show super easy to update!
Photos preload to a hidden folder, so this slideshow does not have to wait for all the images to load before starting. Rather it will load and reveal the first image and then immediately the following image will be preloaded into a hidden folder so it is ready for the slide show. The preloading continues through the entire image list.
In the XML file you can adjust:
slide show timing
gallery size
back ground colour
loading icon colour
text colour & transparency
text backing colour & transparency
text & text backing transparency on Roll Over
vertical location of the numbered navigation buttons

It would be great if there was an option to randomly display the images or if you could just put images in a directory and then it randomly displays them. This way people coming to your site won’t see the first few images a disproportionate amount of the time, but will different images every time.

Does this support image hyperlinks (controlled from the xml)? I’d like to use this as a menu or doorway to another collection when people click the image.
