hi

Really nice work, just a few questions before buying.

Can anything other then the images be customised in the xml? e.g can you specify a time delay in the xml? or urls? I take it you can also specify an unlimited amount of iages and it will just loop through and then repeat itself?

also cna i just specify a width and height, and it will just work for what ever size movie i wish?

@p2ccolo: No. The xml file contains just a path to the images and the names of the images used. It is very simple to add/remove images. However, if you want to change dimensions, some small changes need to be done into the fla file. Everything is clearly explained inside the HELP document so there shouldn’t be any problems :) Cheers!

@p2ccolo: I made an upgrade to this file but I don’t know why does it take so long… Contact me please at: bogdan [at] codelines [dot] ro. I’ll send you the new package. Now you can load swf files, images, everything resizes automatically (you just have to resize the stage in flash), and the dalay for each picture can be set from within the XML file. Cool ha? :)

I am trying to combine this effect with another component that must run in AS3 . When I change publish settings to AS3 this code doesn’t function correctly. Specifically, lines 43, 45, and 47 cause problems. I’m not much of a coder to understand the syntax changes from AS2 to AS3 – any quick fixes to make this AS3 compatible? Thanks so much!

@pixelmonkey3000: Sorry mate! This file was programmed in AS2 . There’s a big difference between AS2 and AS3 … I will jump to AS3 soon…

I’m trying to import this swf from another swf and all functionality stops. Any ideas: This is the code I’m using:

Sorted. its to do with the paths.

On Another note, I’ve noticed that the CPU usage is very high on this. Any way this can be brought down?

Is there an easy way I can centre your file in another (bigger) swf? I’ve tried but it’s always ranged top left and the transitions don’t work either

Here is what i have in mind, i have an online store and i belive this cute XML gallery will help me to show up some products on the side navigation on my site (as “top offers” part). The only problem i have is, i am not sure if i can use an vertical (portrait) style of this gallery. Another question in my mind is, what is the possibility to assign an URL to every image…is it possible to modify the XML and make the pics “clickable” that will link to specified page on my site …any advice or recommendation is highly appreciated.

Hi.This file has a big problem.I cant load this item to an external jop.Shortly i can not load this movie clip to another swf.And also it is not working in a new movieclip.Because you write the codes thinking the stage.All referance in the codes tied the stage.So i dont like this item.But your works are so amazing.Thanks.If you want to write me send email smskserdar@gmail.com

I GOT THIS , ITS PRETTY .. I have a question though how can I place a front image basically I want to put this inside a frame but it appears always on the front doesn’t see any top layer or anything

see the EXAMPLE HERE

as it’s seen it can only be placed as a rectangle but I want to mask it with some additional details on it. SO ITS NATURAL .

Hi,

Just bought this, and it is very nice indeed….

however, I need to have a graphic frame appear above the loaded jpgs…

If I add a new layer on the main timeline, with the frame graphic on the 1st frame, the loaded jpgs still appear above the frame.

What changes would i need to make to the actionscript to load the jpgs in to the 2nd layer from the top?

Hope this makes sense…

Hi, i bought this one, the animation very nice but i’m not happy with the streaming performance, because there is none.

the slideshow only starts if every picture of the slideshow is loaded, that could be a long time to wait for someone who doesn’t have a big bandwidth.

would be nice if there could be an update with this problemn fixed.

Hi, I’ve bought your previous version of “Circle Transition”. This version is not XML driven and dispite your rich comments in the AS I can’t figure out how to resize. When I enlarge the stage the animation does not cover the intire movie, the bottom (apx 25 px) is without the animated transition.

I can see that the old file has been deleted and that’s why I write my comment here – hope you’re ok with that? ;-)

Can you help me find out where in the AS I can control the size of the animation?

Hi again, I can see that you haven’t posted any answers the last year so this is mabye a waste of time. I was wondering how to place the “main.swf” within certain x/y coordinates.

I want to load the slides into x=20 and y=125 but they keep showing up in top-left corner.

PLEASE help me with this even if you’re very busy.

I’ve got the exact same problem. I can’t seem to get it to load at the right x, y coords. I don’t even see stage align command that usually causes this issue.
