Change type font for Title text: Open library panel then find movie clip name textarea >> Click it then right click > Edit > You will see a text field > Click it then change font type/size from Properties panel (CTRL + F3)

@audioicon : i usually email file directly to customer, also updated files will uploaded if there’s big changes in file (5 changes and up).

Hey what’s up. Well I went ahead and purchased the file and so far it’s working well.

But there is one problem! There is a latency, meaning the images are not loading on time.

I do not have the files uploaded on my server, only on my computer and cannot provide you with a link.

But please help! Why is there delay with the images? The text appear before the images, sometimes a few seconds late leaving a black screen.

I even went further and use Javascript pre-loader for the images – but this did not help.

Regardless – I still love this file and thanks for your responds.

designesia : Yes a preloader would be cool. The whole banner is just ace to use thank you : ) Also do you think it as an easy thing to integrate another .swf into this one? like a news feeder? is this even possible? like this Flashden

Just so you know, I’m still waiting for a response to my question regarding the delay of the images. There is a latency causing the banner to be black until the images load, any solutions to this problem?

I have sent you several e-mails and also posted questions on here regarding the image loading problem. The images are not loading on time. Sometimes a take a while for an image to load, this leaves the banner blank. If you could at least acknowledge my e-mails that would be great.

If this is the way the file works and there are no work arounds please let me know. Maybe I can find another file.

I would like to move on to other projects but this problem is killing me.

Can you at least respond??

@audioicon : Sorry for delay, i just back from holiday. Is your preview in local computer works same as preview in flashden? please let me know. if you want to make image and text appear in same time you can speed up the images fade in through xml. Change value for variable below:

Hey, no problem, I understand you are busy. Everything is working perfectly except the image delay. I’m not seeing a preloader on the banner.

What I can see is this: The text appears before the image on some of the images. This leaves the image area black/blank.

I love the banner but is there a way to make the images load so that this delay is not there? This would make the timing perfect. Yes I have the fade timing set to 4 seconds.

hi audioicon : this is because images has bigger file size than text so it’s appear first before images appear. This only first time when images load, this would not happen when images looping. BTW I will try to make invisible preloader so there’s no loading screen anymore. For now what you can do is try to make images file size smaller (i usually using photoshop) so it can load faster.

Issue 2: Image http://israstage.co.il/picture/filename/1825/carmenban.jpg size 680×300 It is displayed differently on banner (looks it is stretched)

Hello Designesia, Thanks for the reply. You are right the images are very large but unfortunate for me, this is what the design calls for.

Is there a way I can use a pre-loader with this file? I am wailing to purchase a preloader but was wondering how I can add a nice preloader that visitors will see before the images load or when the images are late to show up.

Again I would like to use a preloader that visitors can see if the images are late.

I just delete all text, example below…

images/image1.jpg <![CDATA[]]> <![CDATA[]]>

this will display only image1.jpg without any text.

@ciclope : sorry i forgot to mentioned, as you said need to change encoding in top of xml with this:

<?xml version=”1.0” encoding=”utf-8” ?>

Also you need to open ‘XML Banner Rotator with menu Navigation.fla’ click Frame label ‘Action’ then open action panel. The put this script at line 1 of actionscript:

System.useCodepage = true;

let me know if you don’t know to do this. Also i will upload the update version in next few days

Hi Designesia,

I have bought the rotator today. I´m happy with it the many banner functionalities. But I still have 2 problems:

1) When I the rotator is loading, I see the text jumping in and an annoying black box on the left side. I have read that you have a newer file to solve the black box problem? Can you send it to me bij E-mail?

2) If the images are loading, I don’t see a preloader. How can I adjust the file so I can see the preloader instead of a white page with trhe black box?

3) I can’t load any swf files into the rotator. It is now only supporting images like *.png. When the rotator tries to load a swf file, the rotator will get stuck. All files (settings.xml and swf banners are uploaded into diffrent folders).

Can you help me with the problems? Thanks in advance.

Hi Designesia I bought your file yesterday and have same problem as JFXIW earlier in this topic , So when I use loadMovie to call it inside my main site Fla – the menu dissapears and the text backgrounds are not masked properly with pictures.

So can you send me that newer fixed version too?
