XML Banner Rotator V.2 Features:

- Unlimited number of images/slides.

- Loads jpg, gif, png and swf formats

- Play/Pause, Next and Previous buttons.

- Info button – When pressed, an info box will slide in from the top. The text is imported from XML and can be HTML formated.

- The file uses the built-in TransitionManager Class, no external tween classes.

- 6 transitions included:

1 – Blinds
2 – Fade
3 – Iris
4 – Photo
5 – PixelDissolve
6 – Wipe

- You can either set the rotator to use random transitions for each slide (as in the preview), or set a particular transition for each slide, all easily in the xml file.

- You can set the following parameters in the xml file:

- Delay time
- Random transitions or not
- Transition for each slide if not random – can be different for each slide.
- Main background colour
- All buttons background colour
- All buttons icon colour
- Transparency of the preloader, you can set it to 0 if you don’t want any.
- Preloader’s colour
- Main text box background colour
- Main text box transparency
- Images name and path
- All text, which can be HTML formated.

- Easily change the pictures in the external picture folder.

- Help file included.

- Only 14kb!

Update1: The image description text can now be set to show by default or not, easily changed in the xml file. Also, an option to change the size of the description background has been added for each slide, so you can have more or less text and adjust the backgroung perfectly, all in the xml file!

Nice file. I have a couple of questions: • Is there an option to automatically show info instead of having to click the button? • Will the info bg expand if more text is written?

Hi LG, I see above someone inquired about having the INFO show via XML or by default rather than having to click the icon - you mentioned in your first update you would try to add this -- anything yet?!??

If its in there I’m buying for sure, looks GREAT !

Hi uswebpro,

Your images need to be 590×300 as stated in the help file.

You can’t resize the rotator to 457×272 in HTML and load 457×272 images because when you resize the rotator in HTML , the image place holder gets rezised down as well, so that is why you get this result. No matter how you resize the rotator in HTML , the images still need to be 590×300.

If you want to resize the rotator to 457×272 AND use 457×272 images, you need to resize the rotator in flash.
