To get the URLs to open in the same window, change this line:

getURL(Link[ID], "_blank");

to this:

getURL(Link[ID]);

In the actionscript code.

I figured out how to resize it. Just went into the FLA and changed the elements that needed changing.

Now I need to find out if it is possible to make the images come in a loop instead of have to skip back to the first at the end of the last file? The skipping back looks bad.

If i set the width to 0 on the as in the banner mc, how can I get the file to loop back to the first image and how do I get the button to work if I want to include them ?

I’ve successfully resized the file, but how do I get the buttons moved around? The size of the “green box” in flash didn’t change after changing the document size and stageW numbers … so it’s not like I can just drag the button around into a different place.

How can I reposition the numbers?

Okay I think I got it … there was a locked layer or whatever … once I unlocked it I could move those things around.

this is something i too expected to be working on this file, according to this comment, you want me and sudhayuvaraj to purchase another one of your files in order to learn how to display captions? how is that fair? your example shows captions… so please answer our question….

Am I able to change the color of the number boxes and/or make them circles if desired?

I purchased this file and used it eventhough I could make it myself. I’d like to give a little synopsis of what I see. Above all I see an overall dissatisfaction, not so much in the product which is somewhat useful, but moreso in the level of support. In all the reading of the thread for this product, I don’t think I found one technical question answered in time before the user found it himself (or someone else helped him). The amount of questions concerning the resizing of this banner seems to be the greatest complaint. So I purchased it and put it up on my Adobe CS3 . I see why there is so many questions on this. The lay out is done very crudely. To help people figure it out, I’d say modify your document to your preferred size and then look for the following layer: Scene 1 > banner mc > click once on menu_mc layer and then enter the preferred location into your ALIGN infobox. You typically want it to be 10px from the bottom and 10px off the left. I suggest getting rid of your hourglass icon on the lower right as it is distracting while the page loads for the visitor viewer the first time. In the end, this is my suggestion. People who buy these kinds of products are people who ofcourse can’t develop their own (they don’t have the knowledge to make one themselves). In light of the fact that this person does not help anyone with their problems, I would recommend not purchasing this product and buy a different one, where you get a developer that doesn’t have a sarcastic bad attitude in his responses. I cant seem to slow the banners down, i have changed the delay func in the xml file but still nothing…any help?
