warp preloader

geodeath

This preloader is another easy one to use. You only have to drag & drop it into the frame you want it to show up. The rest is already made for you. No need to add any stop commands, any actionscript or whatever you ve been used to do until now. Just pick the frame you want, drag the movie clip onto it and you are done!

This preloader comes in 4 colors: Magenta, Yellow, Cyan, Green. You will actually download 4 different files, but if you still want to change it, its very easy to edit the colors yourself.

If you have any problems (which i doubt) you can always refer to the step by step guide included with the download, post below, send me an email at the email address in the readme file or use flashdenâ€™s contact form to reach me. I always answer my emails ASAP , so dont worry if you get stuck!

yeah, _root in AS3 isnt available. You have to change every _root with MovieClip(root) for it to work. However, this is not the only change needed. I was able to get it at 99% correct, but it still gave me an error. All this without knowing AS3 . I will look it up in the near future and provide either 2 versions or both in the same package, but dont expect it too soon.

Either my content is loading extremely fast or the percentage is stuck at 100% Is that normal?

it seems that it either loads too fast so its already at 100% or that you have some content on the first frame (check with “generate size report” in the publish settings), it can even be linkage… Have a look. Check the size of the swf too. if its less than 100kb you may not be able to see it loading, depending on your connection too. Always try the simulate download feature!

Well, just tested it with a 3 meg image and it still starts at 100% and stays there. Also, it doesn’t hold on frame 1 before content is loaded. On enter, it moves to frame 2 in less than 2 seconds.

Hi just bought this hoping it would do as it says on the box, I can’t use Flash but edited the clour in Flash * exported it, then imported inyo SwishMax2 hoping that I could place it in the file as mentioned. But nope… not working – here’s the debug report:

Nearly every file I’ve purchased from Flashden hasn’t worked properly… despite the fact they’re meant for Flash Idiots lol! I’m no website designer virgin either. Would appreciate some help – if any of you are SwishMax-ers thx

@CazzB: I never use swish or anything else than flash. I dont know if this has to do with your problem.. However, please open the file in flash so you can just copy and paste the loader movie clip (its the only thing on the stage) in your other file opened as well in flash. The fact no file worked for you maybe has to do with using swish?
