Hi, thanks for this awesome scrolling portfolio/showcase.

Only, I would like to slow the speed of the scrolling. Instead of the entire page of content scrolling down in just 5 wheel downs, is there a way to allow for more wheeling down before it reaches the bottom and NOT affect the way it responds to how you use the mouse to pull the scroller down?

Hi qb, nice file! Is there an easy way to stop the bg-image from resizing if the browser window is resized? I am using the file for a portfolio and am using a white background. The image gets messed up if one resizes the browser. Thnx in advance Keep it up!

I’m about to pull the trigger on this, but I have 1 question. Most of my work is vertically proportioned. How easy would it be to move the client, title, etc. to the right of the image? Is it just a matter of resizing and moving containers in the FLA ?

@adamrobertson: Yes. It is just a matter of editing the “item” movieclip. Very simple!

@soundseller: Try commenting line 42 and 43 (bg_mc) inside the AS code (index.fla). ;)

this template is brilliant!

quickboy, can you modify it a little bit???

my idea: check out http://www.flashden.net/item/advanced-fullscreen-scroll-template/3181

- you can scroll with the mouse scrollwhell everywhere inner the browserwindow, not only over the text/content. - you can click the scrollbar bgrnd - you can click the scrollbars arrowsa instead of only dragging them…

is it possible to modify your file like this??

I love this layout! I purchased this template. But I have a question… Some of my pieces are print pieces that i list on the site. Is there a way to get rid of the ” click to visit this project” button on some items as well as changing the width of the item box to fit a poster ratio item?

Hi! Can you start de site with all the flv videos with a Stop, and if you want to play do it touching the play botton that apperas in the center or the video?

Because i hace 4 difernets flv and start all togheter

Hey Quickboy,

bought a couple of your files, always love them, always very easy to edit. Finally hit a snag! i cant display Polish characters. The XML is UTF -8 anyway, and i opened the .FLA and tried embedding the accented characters in the text box properties, but they still don’t display. Im running out of time to resolve this and have been trying to sort it on my own for days before i bothered you with it, but any help now would be very much appreciated!

Hey Quickboy, Im mainly using this template to show my visual fx work so im loading about 20 flvs on the site. Is there any way to stop the movies from playing all at once and only playing if the play button is clicked?

uh the wheel scroll doesn’t work ? any plans on making this function anytime soon? I am on a mac btw – without scroll its kind of annoying that you have to find the drag bar and move it down the page

Got a quick question, I’m trying to add a tooltip that I bought from flashden. it’s pretty basic. So what I am trying to do is have it work when you hover over one of the external swfs so I installed it on the external swfs.

What’s happening is the tool tip bugs out because its conflicting with some of the other code. I know this is vague but I was wondering if you have ran into this problem and if you could suggest a fix. I’ll email you the tooltip if that helps. Thanks for your time. I appreciate the help you have given me already.

Can you center the float? Also ideally if you could click on a image (not one of the ones with video) and it displayed a larger version would be awesome. Close to buying this let me know on the center float thing thanks

well i did buy it and it is not that easy.

In the : HELP -Vertical-scroll portfolio.doc file it is sais

Full-browser image/texture Background: you can fit high resolution image or texture background in this creative portfolio, you can also load external swf file as a background as well.

Yes, thanks, but how do you do this ? Is it an xml ? en Mc ? There doesn’t seem to have any other explanation ...
