@Chuck2007: sure it can :)

hi,

is it possible to fit _x and _y of the full size images? there is no point in the parameters.

thx in advance

Posted 12 months ago

@urumachi: position of full size image is placed in the center of gallery’s parent movie clip. You want to move up / down or relocate it ?

Once again you have created a fantastic bit of kit – didn’t hesitate to buy. The video tutorial was really useful. Thanks.

one tweak I was wondering – is it possible to add a scale tween to the bitmap effects in the .as file so when user rolls over images, the effect and a slight scale of the images occurs?

Posted 11 months ago

@gourangie: Hmm yeath its possible you can tweak the code by yourself I think, once you understand all the provided code. Also you need to add some ZigoEngine command to tween xscale and yscale of rollovered thumbnail

Dear RimV, I sent you an email and have not heard from you, so hopefully you could answer me on this post—

I just purchased your flash package (flashden_ultimate-thumbnail-scroller-_14135.zip) and had some difficulties to make it work perfectly – 1. I made it work —http://www.designmindstudio.com/MonteCarlo a. But when it runs, it eats CPU like no end, if I keep the flash running on the browser, the CPU usage gets higher and higher, it can run up to 45 ~ 55% of the CPU . b. Also when it first loads on the web page, it slides 3000miles an hour– it will slow down if I move the mouse over the images..But is there any way to slow it down to the normal speed when it first loads? 2. Also in the package I downloaded, there are two folders under MAIN a. Docs b. Source 3. They both have the asset, js, com … but the fla files inside both folders seem to be different and the ones inside the source folder seem to have problem. 4. The main.js files are different, one commented half of the code. 5. The Videos do not seem to have audio (no sound)

– so far I just changed the fla and the xml file inside “DOCs” folder,– did not touch the other files…

Thanks! Yan

thanks it is brilliant and makes my website look much more professional. Please forgive me as I am very much a flash beginner, but is there an easy way to have more than 1 Ultimate Thumbnail gallery in my website? In flash I changed the xml source to another xml file I have created but it didn’t seem to work, can anyone help?

sorry… I worked it out, very easy, my mistake

Is the auto scroll speed on this customizable? I would like to get this but need it slower

Posted 8 months ago

@tspurr: Sure it’s customizable

RimV, Will I be able to use SWF files to display the large images?>

Posted 4 months ago

so here’s a dumb question… how do you integrate the image scroller files into your flash site? If any of you have a moment to respond, i’d really appreciate it! I’m kind of under the gun here. :) thanks so much.

@jbwheaton: The scroller is a component so it’s pretty much drag and drop-able, see the help video for more info

This comment is for rosstsar and your comment above:

What did you do to make it work? I am running into the same problem.

Can anyone else explain how to make this work also? I have created different folders and have told flash to go into them but it isn’t working. very frustrating.

thanks so much!

@jbwheaton: make sure the XML file is placed in the same folder with the .FLA and SWF file and the XML name put in component is declared correctly

I’ve been working on this utility for over a day now and I STILL can’t get it to load properly. I’m a novice at Flash, so please forgive. The gallery runs fine when I preview it in Flash (8) – then I load the swf file into my Dreamweaver web page. The swf and xml files are both in the same directory (source directory). The xml files point to the proper asset directory, the assets are loaded to the web, as are the swf and xml files – but all I get is this:

http://www.ninechoirspress.com/samples.html No pictures, no working scroll bar.

Can anybody suggest what I might be doing wrong? All help is greatly appreciated! Thanks very much!

Never mind – I figured it out. I didn’t know that the html file with the swf in it had to be in the same folder as the swf and xml file? Once I put it in it worked.
