The Looking Glass (V2) Looped XML Image Gallery
A simple, easy-to-use, and unique XML image gallery that fits all window sizes. You can have as many images as you want. Images will continuously scroll from left to right, and this will loop once you get to the end. On rollover, the images quick-zoom into the center. On click, descriptions will appear. All controlled by a simple XML file. In the XML , you can change the width and height of the images, the descriptions, and how slow or fast the images will scroll.
Note: Images can be any size you wish, but all the images in the file must be the same size (otherwise, they will just be cropped). You set the size of your images in the XML .

All code is commented.

I am ready to buy, but need to know if this can be linked to outside pages?

It is not currently supported dynamically. If you want to link out, you will have to create another function, doubleClick event for example – AS3 knowledge needed for that.
However, I am releasing V3 soon, which is similar to this one and you will be able to link out.
Would like to eliminate the zoom and the text. Just scrolling slide show. Can this be done with some simple code deletions? I don’t have any ActionScript experience, so be gentle.

Can the images be resized to include both wide and narrow images? So far I like what I am seeing… very nice.

casinopartykings: Yes, you could just comment some code out, but I would advise one to have at least some working knowledge of AS3 before attempting this.
yaquiloco: The file can include any size of image, wide and narrow. But not at the same time, all images have to be the same size. Thanks.
