Introduction
OK, I have been asked time and time and time again how this effect is done, so I’ve decided to share it with the FlashDen world, apearce’s HideBox – a very simple code that will work on any flash document when added to the bottom layer. Custom cursors can then be created without problems.
Why Bother?
To be fair – thats what I would think at the start, but this little component has a lot more uses that a normal mouse.hide(); function, for example – if you roll of the mouse.hide you get a strange cursor flickering effect, this fixes that, and when you right click and click back onto the stage – the mouse is hidden again.
