That’s ‘cause I took it down till I figured it out… I’m using word press and was putting the files into the wrong directory… Now it works like a charm!!!

Simple horizontal sliding page mailing list or newsletter sign up. Just put in your name, your email and click subscribe or unsubscribe. The php file then sends the information to your mySQL database and an email is sent to the user. You can easily customize the subject and message in the php. Text in the .swf is called from a xml file so you never have to even open the .fla. You can click the next buttons or just use the enter key. Sliding is done with easing and the file is only 6kb.

I don’t see it anywhere on that page. If it was there, the xml should be here: http://www.mendezmedia.com/wp/subscribe.xml which it isn’t. Email me and give me more specifics about the problem. Thanks.

just bought, is a nice file, i’m not so great with php my admin, it would be nice to have a query, but the instructions were fine, except that the instructions seems to be incorrect cos it says add 2 fields but the picture show 3, that threw me off a bit, after a little playing with it i went back and re did the table creation this time i used 3 and addedd all the picture info and it worked good. It was a simple thing that newbies like me can spend time on. Also the fact that you can check the subscriber’s list wasn’t clear until you read the thread cos is not in the instructions. That also took a bit to figure out. So for thos buying it, just make sure you understand that you can check the list by going to your email_list.php file on your browser. thank you, nice file overall.
