@atakokan – please use the Embed feature of Flash on the textfields where you need to add those characters.

@dogan – of course, you can use php to generate the xml file

Great work on this, Oxylus.

- However, when autoplay is enabled, and a button is clicked (i.e. btn for news # 3), the time cycle should start over, not continued from when last news was displayed.

Hi there, i just brought this file and love it but when i insert it into my new site it displays the images underneath the it and the previous news alert is still visible on the left hand side once you click next or it rotates.

I have tried to mask it to hide these but the images remain and the text inside the file disappears.

Have you had this problem before and what can you recommend i do to resolve this issue?

Other than that i’m looking forward to using this once we’ve fixed this problem.

It looks like nice, but it is really difficult to integrate it in another .SWF file, you need to be a programer and there is no support to do it at all!

I don´t advise to use it for this purpose! I had to buy another News XML reader because was imposible to integrate this one!

There is no help in the “Support Forum”!

as noted above, a fair warning: this application requires a significant understanding of actionscript. I am a decent coder and this will take me a good bit of time to get it to do what I want; I was hoping for a more dynamic file…..

Bought between 10 and 49 items

Hello oxylus, I bought this file but I cannot make it work. I receive a lot of bug messages. When I open the xml file it tells me that it is incorrectly formatted and to be careful about it. When I try to open the swf I get another browser message telling me it cannot access the xml and that it does not load. Don’t understand it and don’t know what to do about it. If you could help I would appreciate it. Mireille

in order to change the color of the design you have to open the file in flash and manually adjust or change the colors….

Hi,

We purchased this News Reader a week ago, and once we uploaded it to our site and disabled (turned off) the “Auto Play” tag feature in the XML file—it began to go crazy and scroll through the uploaded news pages a mile a minute.

We have flash 8 and 9 here, and need to know if there is a solution to this ASAP ?!

Hi, have just purchased this component and it doesn’t seem to work. I get various error messages when I open the swf, “xml cant be found”. Also, how to integrate into an existing site, I cant find any info on how to do this. I look forward to your reply.

Hi,

Have managed to sort out my issue above, but now have the problem of integration.

When I load the file into my page in position; all the photo’s overlap the reader and the next scrollbar is visable on my page. Also on click return I have all the text appear ontop of my page.

It looks like i have the same problem as “Grizz” above.

Can you provide me with some help please. Have left a similar message on your support forum.

I had bought and is impossible to integrate it in another flash movie, moreover i must say there is no support at all by Oxylus either here or in the forum!
