Hi, the file work ok when I publich it fro your fla, but if i copy/paste into another flash movie the text dissapears when I move the scrollbar
Any solution? Thanks

I found the problem…this happens when I want to use device fonts instead of bitmap….let me know how can I fix this

I also noticed that if I have a lot of text when I look at the flash file, the text is cut by the mask at the top, please let me know if there is a solution for this

huesped : I tried using device font and it works fine. Make sure your publish settings is set to Flash 8/actionscript 2.0.
For your second question, have you tried pusing the Dynamic Text Field (textContent) from the scroll content movieclip lower a bit?

Hey Jimi, me once again..sorry for being a pain in the arss 
I noticed that the swf file doesn´t show up some characters, such as “á” or “&”. My txt file is saved as UTF -8 and I added the following code “System.useCodepage=true” to the first frame of the movie, but that didn’t helped.
Help much appreciated!

This file is great!
I have intergrated it into my site in minutes, all my text came from XML and it was very easy to change the code to get it to change from the textfile setup used in the demo.

I have a question. I set my fiule up and I have to have a “&” symbol included it’s in the text is R&B but where ever the “&” symbol is the text ends there. And does not go any further. I tried setting it up as an HTMl spot where it has it as ”&” But nothing is working it still does the same thing.

The only way I can get it to work is if it is the very first thing in my movie. I want it to be within a movie symbol a few layers in… please advise…
