This flash movie is capable of showing realtime statistics like currently playing track and number of listeners of any Shoutcast stream. A PHP file is used to gather the data from the Shoutcast server which is then passed on to the flash movie. Instructions on how to set everything up together with a troubleshooting guide are included in the download.

It’s nice, it’s clean, stream-lined. Floats pretty in my page. Didn’t sit right in the template, I never got it to work completely. It loaded slowly for me, on a very fast server.
It is very easy to modify, the script was easy to work with and it is well documented.

What is the 7.html file?

The 7.html page comes with a standard installation of shoutcast and therefor is not included in this download package. The 7.html page supplies statistics about the shoutcast server like number of listeners and currently playing track. The script I have written uses this page to pass on this information to a flash movie where it is displayed.
If you want to have a look at your 7.html page then edit the following url to your own configuration: ort/7.html">http://www.yourdomain.com

I have answered your emails, your 7.html setting is incorrect. Please use email instead of the comment system here on Flashden. You’ll have a much better chance on a fast reply.

good idea to make this in flash, its been a long time comming, Ive been searching the web fore months but never had any results untill i found your work ere. What i do want to ask.
Is it possible in any way to make it so that the swf can refresh and bring new track data without the need of refreshing the page that contains the swf?

It is possible to reload the data on certain intervals (higher frequency = more server load).
It requires some edits in the actionscript. Please contact me by email if you want this done.

This is a great flash stats , Ive built curent track part of it into my flash site header and it works well, Also thank You to the prson who made it for making a top flash product and sorting auto refresh in to it for me.
