Countdown timer which extracts the time using PHP therefore no body can cheat by changing their local time.

Try it on the Preview, change your local time and the time will still stay the same. Time zone depends on the server.

Flash loads a PHP file every second and checks the right time. If the time is up, it will go to a “Time Up” frame.

This would be very useful if you wanted to release something for a site at exactly the right time without having to be on a computer!

Requirement: Flash 8 + PHP 5 +

The seconds are a little funky. It will go 5… 4… 3. 2. 1…... The timing is just strange. Other than that cool file. I like the font.

@sjumah Thanks! @dxc381 Yeah, I’ve noticed that. But I suppose you can accept it because it has to load the time via php every second so it may have to make up for a few milliseconds and I’m sure no one will just sit for a large duration watching the timer.
