looks and feels good,
but the tab in the bottom right only comes up on some of the screens, also is there a preloader for each of the image screens.
thanks

Simple gallery page with vertical thumbnail panel. Users can adjust the color of the text, background, and side panel. All data is stored in an easy-to-update .xml file. This allows for sets of images or just one image. The tab navigation is displayed only if there are multiple images for that set. Three lines of text are allowed for the description of each image set and can display html links if needed.

g3t,
Thank you for your compliment.
No, there isn’t a preloader between each slide. It displays the image after it has loaded. On average broadband speeds this shouldn’t ever be noticed.
As for the tab at the bottom right, that is only displayed if there are multiple images in the currently viewed set of images. If there is only one image, the tab navigation goes away.

Hi,
Nice work. Can video or movie cliip be loaded as well?
Thanks. Ric

ricalien, An .swf can be loaded in as well, yes. The flash simply uses the loadMovie action to load in whatever you’ve listed in the .xml file.

Does it allow for multiple galleries that are editable withing the XML file?

artocks, If I’m understanding you correctly, yes. Each thumbnail you click is its own section allowing for multiple images or just one image. The description text is for that entire section of images.

Yes, the content and color scheme is controlled by the xml file. The description area for each image is limited to 3 lines of text.

This is really great. Just a quick question – I’m a complete flash newbie and would really like to know, is it possible to embed this in a flash page so that clicking “gallery” on the page would show you this on the page? Many thanks

@atmostat, yes that should work. You’ll need to mask the gallery though.

Hi dajavion,
I’ve purchased the file a week ago and just opened it today due to lack of time…
first thing I noticed was that in the original .swf the My title and The description text simply show.
When I open the .fla and publish it straight away, the title an description do not show? is there a bug in the .fla? or is it due to the fact that I’m working with flash CS3 (I’m publishing it as version 8 with as 2.0)
Can support on this one?
Thanks in advance,
Greets WLM

Hi Dajovion,
Was wondering if there was a simple way of using the arrow keys to control the next slide as well as the on click funtion. I’m not that great with the actionscript.
Any assistance with be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
