Rotating, Fullscreen XML Template

Rotating, fullscreen, flash template. Click the navigation buttons to the left and both the navigation and content spin to your selection. As the content spins the other pages disappear into slits in the background. The template is fullscreen and stays centered using easing. The homepage and the about page both have a text area that allows html text and uses a scrollbar if the content exceeds the page size. The gallery images fade in, have a preloader and are called from an xml file. The contact page uses php mail. The company name stays in the bottom right. Flash is not required. All you need to edit are text files and the images you want in the gallery. The whole thing is just 63kb.

i got the same problem as maydav…..i extract it but nothing happens doesnt matter if its the local machine or my external www.jusmachines.co.nz server

ah….the problem is in the index.html file…..just rename the file squares.swf to squares03.swf

Yes, you can change the names and icons by opening the buttons in the library in the flash file.

dxc381, first of all- great file… second, is there a way to have the first portfolio image always load when portfolio button is clicked? For instance, the way it is now when the user clicks through the portfolio, then clicks the home button and then goes back to portfolio the last image viewed is displayed. I would like if it always went back to the first image. Is this possible? If so, can you enlighten me? much appreciated.

huckster, in the actions frame 2 go to line 72. It should look like this:

if(endRotate == -270){
endRotate = 90;
}
Right after that add this:
if(this._name.substr(6, 1) == 3){                
interface_mc.content_mc.gallery_mc.loader_mc.image_mc.loadMovie(interface_mc.content_mc.gallery_mc.gallery_xml.firstChild.childNodes[0].attributes.src,"image_mc",{_x:50});
};

emadrid007, do it just like you would an html link but replace < with &lt; and > with &gt;

on the gallery.xml, when someone clicks on an image how do i get the image to open in a new window I’ve tried target=”_blank” after the link any suggestions?

mwilson, no sorry. quimeradiseno, it can load swfs so just make your movie a separate file and it should work. be careful of the path to the movie. when you load it, it considers the root movie the root. email me if that needs to be explained better.
