UPDATE : previous and next buttons have been added.
What’s new in V2 ?
- now you can add as much galleries as you want, - you can put a short description on each photos.
“Photo Inertia Gallery” is a photo gallery with efficient effects, an original way to provide your photos.
Features :
- 2 versions of this gallery in the package : XML or PHP .
In the PHP version, you don’t need to fill any filename for your photos.
A script on the server will build automatically a XML file from your photos folder.
When you upload photos in the folder, it’s automatically viewable in your gallery.
- a XML file to configure the name, the color, the e-mail, and the music of your gallery.
- Resizable, the photos will adapt themselves to the window size.
- The thumbnails will never go out the stage when you resize the window.
- Individual preloader.
- Fullscreen mode on/off.
- Customisable Right Click Menu.
- A function to tidy your photos.
- A function to mess you photos around.
- MP3 for background music with a stylish mute button.
- A short documentation to start with your gallery.
- You don’t even need to open the fla
Special Features :
You can throw away your pictures around the stage, with bounce, deceleration, and rotation effects.
Very smoothly.
Just try and play !
If you purchased the version 1, you can re-download it to have the version 2.

Could I attach a Timer object that executed the “next” / “previous” arrow buttons at a set interval? This would be to create a “slideshow” mode in either the forwards or backwards playback.
Also, how would I go about adding a movieclip that appears when the cursor hovers above a single photo so I could put, for example, a “printable version” link that would lead the viewer to the direct path to the image file that they could save?
Thanks for the great product and your time helping out!

I have requested a little advice on how this flash might be incorporated into a site using a loadmovie method (loading movie into specified and positioned movieclip, of same dimensions as the gallery file). Not exactly an uncommon wish, if this is to be part of any website, but unfortunately I haven’t been helped.
“Just imagine if I had to make change for everypeolple who bought my files? It would be a fullTime job.”
Additionally, I have noticed that none of the photos are clickable until the last one loads.
Having said that, the file is incredibly clever and nicely executed were it not for these two very clear points for improvement.
SO – to improve it, I will say this -
I do want to be able to view photos without having to wait for all of them to load (obviously. This is not a preference, it is a necessity)
I do want to incorporate this within a website rather than as a “stand-alone”.
I wonder if we can see these changes in a version that will be downloadable to existing purchasers?

For 25$, unfortunately, that doesn’t make the cofee neither
Severals buyers from here succed in loading in in their own site.
OK, I am definitely annoyed by this attitude now.
$1350 and counting – and the photos cannot be clicked until ALL of them are loaded? Not good enough.
Oh, and if you name one single file wrongly in the photo folder, the entire site stops working, so if you have an extra image to the XML list – kaput.
