I followed the simple how to…. but the percentage stays at 0% and then jumps to the next frame once the movie has loaded. any ideas? The movie is only 2 frames and is loaded into a base swf on at level 10.

I’d have to look at your files to see whats going on. I use this preloader in the Black Template http://www.flashden.net/item/black-flash-website-template/5901 as you can see it works perfectly.

how do you get it to work on a flash navigation banner? do you just paste the preloader in the first frame and place the contents of the banner in the second frame?

I’m in the same boat as zapprabbit – can you maybe post some more detailed instructions – doesn’t seem to matter if I have the stop action in place or not – the movie stops showing loading 100% and goes no further. I’m using CS4 AS2 – any help would be much appreciated!
