A simple â€“ yet elegant â€“ gallery site to showcase your work in a compelling manner. MD Gallery was designed with the goal to let your work speak for itself. The thumbnails are arranged in an elegant (and customizable) grid and allow each thumbnail to display a larger version of your image for more impact. The motion is smooth and you can add as many “libraries” as you wish (space permitting of course).

This is a complete site template. All you have to do is customize it to your liking and deploy!

What this file includes:

FLA file with all code in centralized files
All XML files for main gallery and all libraries
All fonts, classes, and javascript used in the gallery (1)
Instruction file with some troubleshooting

Requirements:

Flash 8 or higher
Very basic knowledge of Flash Actionscript (how to change a variable)
Adobe Photoshop (if you would like to use the included PSD template)

Hello, I purchased and modified your file easily. So great, that’s what i need in my recent project.

But i need a little little information about something. I don’t want to load gallery in firsttime.. I want it to just load the categories but not the gallery automatically. Just categories for first openning. How can i do it? See me as a tired advanced as2 coder.

Hi, I’m a newbie, I bought your software in May but uptil now, I still have a problem unsolved. How do I change the name John Doe to my name? I created a new logo and tried to upload, but it showed an error page. I thought I might miss some steps. Would you please help advise the steps to make change? Many thanks!

Hi all, I am actually trying to develope a gallery based on this MD gallery. I need to point that this project came a little unwanted on my desk, I did not buy this file (former project responsible did), so I don’t even know if I am entitled to ask something in order to customize this file. If not, I apologize.

anyway: is there a way to completely exclude ”+” sign on thumbs, black triangle behind it, gray shading of inactive thumbs, and in brief all that works to open related larger pict?

I have been asked to “transorm” this file into a thumbnail-only showcase.

I am not a coder, so please I hope to get a spep by step anwer!

Great File, Ive found it really easy to use and this is the first time i’ve tried making a flash site or any website.

the problem that i have is cant seem to find how to change the email add from green to another colour? Im sure its simply but i cant find it.

I just purchased this file “MD Gallery v1” however you mention if we want to have the advance version we need to contact you to get the upgrade for an extra $5/ Well, you never get back to me in this one so i did purchase the new version ($35.) can i get a refund for the first version “MD Gallery v1”?. thank you man…

Hello,

I am having a few issues with your MD_Gallery, please help!

I have made two new xml galleries that work fine when I run the index.html from the _Deploy folder on my desktop. But the xml paths fail once I bring all the files together into one folder.

Also when I publish the MD_Gallery.fla I am receiving this error code.

Error opening URL ‘file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Tamie/My%20Documents/NE%20Design/Flash%20Site/%5FDEPLOY/swf/xml/MD_Gallery.xml’

I have set the testMode to FALSE in the as/main.as

The second problem I am having is; after I uploaded all my files to my site as suggested in your instructions I can’t seem to get past the following

You need to upgrade your Flash Player This is replaced by the Flash content. Place your alternate content here and users without the Flash plugin or with Javascript turned off will see this. Content here allows you to leave out noscript tags. Include a link to bypass the detection if you wish.

I am running flash player 9 and have published my swf for player 9 as well.

Please help me.

I’m new to this and I do mean VERY new. Very thing is easy to change BUT how do you change the name Jon Doe on the opening screen. do I need a decompiler, or is there and XML file I haven’t spotted?

Hello there

I have uploaded my MD Gallery files but when I go to my homepage I just get a black blank screen with the link ‘bypass the detection’. I don’t know how to rectify this, can you help?

I am using Dreamweaver 8, which tells me there is a broken link on the local site. Here are the details:

file name: /_DEPLOY/js/swfobject/js

broken link: \”“this.getAttribute(“swf””\”

(The site works at a local level but not online, and my hosting account is set up fine)

If you can help/advise I’d be really grateful

I’m not a flash techy( using cs3 ) but it has taken a lot of effort to get this site working than should have been necessary.

Although it’s a nice looking template/site I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who thinks they can just fill in the gaps and out comes a nice looking website. The instructions lack a lot of information I had to work out myself by doing a lot of swearing and almost scrapping the project.

My personal advise to people is to steer clear unless you really do know a reasonable amount of flash.

Hello… It’s been a while but I’ve made my way back around… I have everything going like I want, but I am running into one issue… I am still getting the xml error message, even after I’ve set the “test mode” to false… I have read through the all of the comments, but having found anything specific information… I am unsure what I should do next. Can you or Somebody here help a me out? Thanks a bunch!

Hi!

I’m very happy with this template. I can change everything what I want. But.

I’m from Hungary, so i need to write accentuated letters too. The built in font cant do that, so I changed all the fonts to century gothic and arial.

The first problem is, that I can’t write other accentes, except the letter á, Á. (If you see this I don’t know what should be the problem, but i need to fix it before publishing.
