I think the function is to be able to animate off a swf (when a user presses a button to take them to a new page) and then have the new page animate on.
This gives a cohesive feel to the whole site. Flowing from one page to the next.
But I could be completely wrong. How does the author see this file being used?

It is a simple setup of 4 swf files which are played one by one in a looping style. It is best suited for swf files which consist of only main timeline animations. This type of solution has been requested often on the forums. See following:
http://flashden.net/forums/thread/multiple-movie-clips-on-stage/3444
It is a AS2 file but the coding nothing more than loadMovie command in this file.

It is not limited to 4 files the preview consists of only four files but it can be extended to unlimited no. of files.

I run multiple banners for my website… I create the banner to run on a local news site, then I have to copy/paste the frames into a new Scene for each new banner for my own site so it loops through multiple banners.
With this file, can I just point to external SWFs without having to bring in the frames like I am now? I update the banner once or twice a month, so anyone with the movie cached would need to be able to view it. Will this work for me?
