The author of this file has some serious skills! This is the most comprehensive piece of coding I have seen. Incredible work. I think the price should go up fo rsure.

too bad there’s no area for text to provide details about the picture

Look at the bottom. ;) You can add it in XML .

hi bobocel, this looks great, I was wondering if this can be paired with a thumbnail grid to make it more of a gallery?

Posted about 1 year ago

It’s on my list. I have uploaded a mp3player/gallery/video player set already. I am working on something new on a weekly basis. :p

Posted about 1 year ago

Because it might take weeks, you might want to try to customize it though. Just a thought. The code is clean. ;)

Any chance you could make a working version of this in flash 8? If I change the version to 8 it doesn’t work..

Posted about 1 year ago

@strillogy: please send me an email with your file so I can see what you changed. It should definitely work.

Posted about 1 year ago

I just sent the email with the attached files. I really just need to pass variables from the parent file to this file, but the parent file is flash 8, so I need his it to work with flash 8

Make sure you send the email to andrei at flashden.net – I didn’t receive your email.

Hi bobocel.

I will need to set multiple links in one image, is it possible ?

Thanks.

Posted about 1 year ago

Not sure what you mean.

Posted about 1 year ago

Let me explain better.

Lets say my image is a map, a map with 10 different places.

Is it possible to make links to 10 places ?

Thx.

Posted about 1 year ago

You won’t be able to click on any items, so using getURL won’t work.

Posted about 1 year ago

isn’t it possible to make a link in the area next to (previous)(next) arrows? i think that is the only issue that would prevent this from being a hot file to a super nova file. it seems like there has got to be a way to make the images a link at the bare minimum.

Posted about 1 year ago

It could be customized. ;)

@volumex: I don’t understand your question.

Hi:

Great script! I think it will work great for my project. I am trying to extend it slightly to allow the user to rotate the image. I have the image rotating, but it is rotating from the top left (0,0). Any chance you can point out how I might be able to make it rotate on center without too much trouble?

Thanks.

@jdinkelmann: you need to figure it out. There’s no advice I can give for such a feature. :)

can you play flvs? or even swfs with embedded flvs with this? i need something that does both images and flvs

Posted 11 months ago

I didn’t test. It should work exactly the same for swf files – but I presume you know you will not interact with the swf files, since the focus is on the button on top of the application.

It was created as a viewer for large images, with zoom and navigation.

Posted 11 months ago

does anyone know of a or have you made any good galleries like this one that are xml and play both images and swf with embedded flvs or just flvs?

Posted 11 months ago

- How do I send an image to the viewer on the fly? The images are predefined in the XML . - Does the default opening view have to be 100%? If not, how do I change it?
