Great file, but I can’t find the line that allows me to adjust the coordinates for the base image so it won’t be center screen. Please advise.

One more question. How can I attain a transparent background for everything. I had this working in the previous version, but in this new one, it’s not as clear. Thanks.

SCbimmer, you can have a transparent background by simply replacing the hex color values with .. transparent
line 31 & 32 in the action layer :
@transparent, // background Color transparent, // background Color after Release @

You saved us time, provided a kick ass flash file that we wouldn’t have even conceived and show stellar Flash prowess with your professional compilation of all the necessary element for this file (doc, layout, etc.)—outstanding skillz!
We’ve been ‘toying’ with many of the same issues others have posted – especially getting the initial background of the imenu to blend with our current CSS color settings – I’m intrigued by SCbimmer’s comment, I looked at lines 31 & 32 but find a “Variable Declaration” in that space – we’re newbs at this – can you guys help?

Hi gisckm,
I was talking about the actionscript inside the main .fla file. Open the file, there’s only one layer & it’s called : actions That’s where you will be able to modify the background color.
Just replace the color values by “transparent” and that’s it.
As you said already, this file is fantastic. The whole code is commented. There are more comments lines than code lines and it’s fantastic

Hi, very nice menu, but I wonder If I can add some actionscript when the tween of the menu is over in order to give more info or use an external swf on stage?

Actually, any chance to load swf instead?...the tag does say that I did not purchased the file which I actually did! ; )

@ What exactly do you want to happen onRollOver? Do you want to display some additional textFields with info retrieved from the xml file, or something else? You can load simple external swfs (ie. animation, graphics etc). You cannot load swfs containing movieclips with associated event handlers (interactive menus, buttons etc.).

Thanks, nevermind, I will use it different way, actually I’m importing it in a flash project and I can’t see the Font even If I did embedded as IT was in the main file of yours, can’t find settings for Font color..help or am i blind? ; )

There should be an edit command to re-edit posts anyway….at least to those registered, with all that flash around here is really stupid to re-post something just to say..I’ve FOUND IT , but can’t see any txt happening, I did insert the AS code in my timeline and everything works EXCEPT text, what am I doing wrong?

I’m trying to attach a second LINK but I think I’m missing something, I did duplicate every function and add a second movieclip for the button but I think that I definitely need help, rushing to close the proj…..please

Hi Can this be used for site navigation? goto frame__ would the link still be set from the xml? or would I have to have to lose the xml…

@chiarasv: the background is the stage. When clicking on a photo, the black layer that appears underneath the photos, it can be transparent.
@manesc: no there’s no limit.

Except where explicitly stated this file is entirely the work of iplat. The author has indicated that any images / sounds / video / flash used which are not the author's work have been appropriately licensed for resale.
Think this file has infringed someone else's copyright?
