GALLERY V2

bobocel just opened up the F8 version Gallery v2 – Flash 8.fla and i get the following message when opening all the frames within the movie:

THIS FILE IS STOLEN FROM WWW .FLASHDEN.NET

When I modify the xml and add more than 18 items, the “scroll” albums buttons doesn´t seem to work. Instead it places the 19th album in a new row, off the mask limits.

But in the test file that is uploaded here, the xml has more items, and that feature works fine.

I downloaded the file again and try just to add up to 19 items in the xml, and that feature doesn´t work.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for a very nice gallery – I trying to change the shape of the description bar. And I works fine unless on the first images displayed in an album?

I’ve changed the -25 to -100 (the height of my description back) but the first image keeps it at -25. Can you help me out?

(and someone wrote to you that album no 1 did not show until you click a type – that’s still the case)

is this gallery resizeable?

So by this I take it that we can edit the .fla file? Is there a way to modify structure so that it will fit in a table cell we’ve defined in the html?

Is there a way to instead of showing multiple thumbs in the display gallery, just have arrows (prev/next) to “scroll” between each big image?

there’s a bug in your file.

when clicking a thumbnail the flash will fade in a central image to display.

if the close viewer button is clicked before the central image has faded in, the flash will not show the thumbnails.

can you verify this and post a fix?

I’m trying to make the gallery section scroll vertically up and down rather than horizontally. I know the instructions to do so are in the actions.as file but not sure where. Can you point me in the right direction of where to look in order to alter this file to scroll the main gallery up and down. Thanx.

Your file was my first purchase on FlashDen. I had trouble accessing the file. The download file is named “flashden_gallery-v2_9987.zip”. When unzipped, the folder is named “CONTENT”. It just so happened that I had some folders on my desk top that had names similar to “content”. I was looking for a folder called “gallery-v2”. When I couldn’t find it, I assumed that the file was corrupt and complained to both you and FlashDen. Of couse, soon after I sent the emails, I figured out what the issue was.

I have done some (a lot) of changes to your file. Can you tell me how you fixed the problem with the first album not showing before you deselect and reselect web?

i wish to display the pictures bellow the album thumbnails. I’ve managed to bring down the mcSlide, no worries. But now i don’t wont the that mcalbums disappears, where can i change that? And, for images with different width’s, how do i center the images?
