I’ve been gone for a while but check out with what I’m coming back to you guys! A Full XML driven Website!!! What about that?

Included:

This package comes with everything that you need in order to build yourself a great portfolio or site or whatever. You got FLA ’s to all the files.

This template gives you the ability to load any external swf file inside in just seconds. So if you bought something from FD or whatever and you wanna use it, the only thing that you need to do is add your swf path inside the menu’s xml. My template takes care of the rest(preloading, arrange-ing, etc).

This is the best template so far on FlashDen. Highly recommend it. Very well commented. Simple to reskin. Only one thing I’d like to see is CDATA in the news module (I’ll work out how to do this, but I’m sure Quickboy will do better). Buy this file!

Ok guys! As I promised, today 08-Nov-2008 a very cool update was made to this template. Let’s see what was added:

* Proportional scalling background
* Mini XML driven mp3 player
* Simple XML driven FLV player
* News section with CDATA support
* My last contact form added

What’s cooler than getting all this stuff for FREE ?
PS: I wrote “latin characters” insted of “accented letters or punctuation symbols” I’m sorry, my bad!

Hey Quickboy,

Excellent update, and fantastic template. Thanks in particular for the FLV player; it works great. So, I posted this question a few days back, wondering if you had a chance to look at it: basically, when I plug your mp3 player swf (the one with a playlist feature, sold separately) into the template (loaded into one of the “project” swfs), the scrolling feature for the playlist area get screwy. Generally, the scrolling area centers to the wrong spot on the screen, and it also functions in reverse (hovering higher up scrolls the list down, and vice versa). Please help! Thanks.

Firstly thanks alot for the update. really appreciated.

I have a question regarding News section with CDATA support.

I have just tried to link and image within the xml file using the ordinary html conventions, but this doesn’t work… should this work, or can you only format the text?

so basically,, can I include images in the news section now or not?

Love the file and will purchase, but first, is there an easy way to edit the images (on the portfolio part) to do this?

Hello Quickboy.

I have a problem in your index.fla!

When i click on PROJECTS button appear in submenu Websites, identity/print and multimedia. If i put more buttons here(the more and less buttons appears, right?) and click on Websites, when i click back_btn the buttons more_btn an less_btn don’t appear!!!

Please, help me!

Quickboy,

Love the template. Can you fix a bug that I can’t figure out regarding the main mp3 player’s conflict with playing flvs or other sounds. Have you noticed that after you play an FLV and the main audio stops, the main audio does not return when you leave the page. The controller also doesn’t respond to hitting the play button after another sound file is played. The only way to get the main music going again it to drag the time bar. Tried to go into the code and messed with the: stop all sounds, clearing intervals, etc, but can’t get it to work.

@doodle: Normally it should work. I will give it a try and come with some feedback.
@joaquim: You’re right! I will fix it today.
@syklone: The mini mp3 player did work for me the only problem was that the pause button remained visible and I had to press the pause and then again the play. I will see what I can do.

Hi Quickyboy… I really enjoy your template.. WHile i am converting from your design to my design, a question just was brought up. How can I disable the mp3 player? and also How can I disable the choose background function, so that I can assign just only one background? Hi Quickboy,

I have a question regarding the News Module.

I am using the News module more than once in the template, for example, once for the news section, and once for the Exhibition section..

However this is causing a few bugs. When I scroll down in one of the modules and click on a particuler news item, if I go to the other section which uses the same module the list of items on the right hand side doesn’t start from the top, but from a different place… When you scroll in one module it affects the other modules..

Any ideas how I can fix this,,, changing variable names and movie names maybe? I would be very gratefull for any suggestions. Thanks

Great template! Great support.. but after reading your support tutorials I still have some questions. Hope you can help me out:

how can I align the footer text to the left instead of the right (where it is now). Same for the mp3 player/background etc. I want to in the footer on the right place.

‘open the contact.fla file and on line 125 you have this path: swf/mail.php, and you got your mail.php file inside the swf directory ‘
