Version three of my video player.

New Features:-

Scrolling Nav, click and hold the arrows and scroll away (speed can be changed)

Video Description- dynamic XML driven text description of each video (with scroller if text is too long, see Channel M video on first gallery)

Multiple Video Galleries- Now you can split your videos into seperate groups using seperate XML Files.

Old Features:- Slick design

cool rollovers

usual playback functions including volume control and playhead

thumbnails for each video

Support and assistance as always…

cmgoose:

Create a movieclip (i find a large ‘play’ icon works well)

give the movieclip an instance name of ‘startPlay’

then place it over the top of the ‘videoWindow’

Thats all you need to do ;)

simple huh? :D

yeah just do it in flash, just move them to wherever you want them ;)

I saw that someone has asked my question – “I don’t want the first video to autoplay. Possible?” and you sent them a revised file. Could I get a copy of that also?

smullis3 – change the instance name of ‘play_btn’ to ‘pause_btn’

Is there a way, when called from another page or site, to land in a specific category , tab and or video?

I.e. Let’s say I want to regroup all the videos for a corporate site under one hood, including marketing elements, tv appearances, financial stuff, etc…

What I would want is if I click to go to the media section from the products page, I land in the products channel of the video player, and so on…

rustydog – it can be done, unfortunately i dont have any free time atm, im sure another member of the community would do it freelance.
