This is a simple, yet very effective way to maintain a monthly newsletter for your personal or corporate website. My form features both validation for the email address and radio buttons. A user can choose to either subscribe or unsubscribe by entering their email address in the textfield and clicking on one of the radio buttons. An email will then be sent to your inbox with the user’s email address, ip address and whether or not they wish to subscribe or unsubscribe to your newsletter. The Flash file is well commented and you only need to edit two lines in the php file.

I’m a bit new here and have been wanting to do that, but I am unsure how to replace the current version on FlashDen. If I uploaded the new version to FlashDen, how would I go about deleting this one?

Hold on, does the number error have something to do with text restrict line in the script?

textfield1.restrict = “A-Z, a-z, 1-100, @, .”;

Could that be the problem?

I figured out the problem with the number problem:

in the line “textfield1.restrict = â€œA-Z, a-z, 1-100, @, .â€;”

Instead, it should be textfield1.restrict = â€œA-Z, a-z, 1-9, @, .â€;

Problem solved…it’s a good file guys…..

sorry guys this is what i meant

textfield1.restrict = â€œA-Z, a-z, 0-9, @, .â€;

what i wrote above would exclude the number 0.

Maybe it’s nice to make it like this: (modify in PHP ) $body = “The follwing user, $from (IP:$ip) has made a request regarding our monthly newsletter:\n\n”;

Then you’ll get the emailadress and ip from the “requester”
