EMBOSSED RING PRELOADER

HomeBrowse CategoriesFlashPreloadersPercentage BasedEmbossed Ring Preloader

This preloader features the popular “spinning ring” look that many Flash animations have used over the years. This classic design helps your audience quickly identify that the rest of the Flash content is yet to come. The preloader has several options that are easy to customize, such as hiding the numbers on the preloader, or changing the color of the preloader with Actionscript.

The preloader in the demo uses raster graphics for sharper looking numbers. However, with the click of a button, you can convert the preloader to 100% vector graphics as well. Either way, it is 100% font-free, so that font issues are never a problem. The animation will even stop and start the main timeline by itself. Just drop it into the first frame and you are ready to go.

All of the options don’t weight down the size of your movie; the published animation is about 5kb.

An instructional PDF is included which explains all that you need to know about working with the file. Most importantly, the PDF has a section on “Preloader Troubleshooting” where it explains everything from the download simulator in Flash, to the garbage frame technique. The Actionscript in the file is well commented.
