The gallery was designed to be used embedded in html or standalone. There can be an unlimited number of pictures. It is XML driven and you can set there the description that will appear at the bottom of the big picture, the address of the image and the address of the thumbnail. The animations used were built on the scene and you can easily change either the loading animation or the image’s animation. You can change the colors/gradients/text fonts by editing the library items.
Among the key features : - Unlimited number of pictures - Smooth scrolling, nice loading animation and transition effects - Fairly easy to resize and customise in the fla with minimal/medium knowledge of flash.
Free support for bugfixes.

@alessandromanea The gallery is fixed-size, it is not resizable by default so you would have to edit it to resize it to what you would need. If you’re looking for a resizable gallery try some of our other galleries, there are some very nice ones available.

@OXYLUS but in the presentation I read ”... Fairly easy to resize and customise in the fla with minimal/medium knowledge of flash …”
why?

“resize and customise in the fla” It is exactly what I said. You edit it in the main .fla file.

Hi—
have the XML file referencing SWF instead of JPG and sometimes it works other times it does not.
is there a limitation? can’t find it.
How to load in SWFs ?
Also—not sure why the scrolling buttons needed to be halved in height ? is there a reason you chose that?
thx so much.

Hi. The gallery is great but when I open index.fla in Flash and try to do anything with : Test movie, Publish etc, it it says: Error creating Flash movie file. Destination Directory Does not exist. Change your publish settings.
And I downloaded it fine. I just wanted to re-size the file a little as it is too big for me.
Can you help and tell me what it means.
Many thanks.

@hellokitty The gallery works only with image files (png, jpg, gif)
@zaneta Check if the swf exporting path is correct: File > Publish Settings
Then try again

HI,
It doesn’t help. Even if I change publish settings it still says it has an invalid path. I cannot even TEST Movie when I open fla file to check the file as it says there is an error in publish settings.
What is your idea to sort it out then. I really need to change the overall size of the document as it is too big. It works when I put my images but cannot resize it to my liking as the fla does not work.
Thanks for your help.

Am only able to load 13 images. though i have more in my data.xml. do i need to edit fla file for that???

@zaneta Put a valid path. Use paths relative to the fla file.
@sayoojt Make sure your image names and extensions are in lower case

Can the scroller be moved closer to the imageviewer…as in flush up against it? You have to get dirty in Flash to change the colours because they are graphics?

Hey there,
Great file! It’s working like a charm. One question though, is there a way to insert a scroll bar on the “Image Description” portion of the gallery?
Thanks in advance.

Great gallery!
Can you provide instructions on how to move the scroller down? I’ve resized the whole stage bigger and need to move this. I’ve tried moving different elements in the library but it seems to be in a fixed position..
Thanks!
