This is a Dynamic XML based light weight file. Suitable for all type of projects and can be easily integrated with any of the templates available here on flashden or with any other templates.

no it doesn’t parse rss feeds. It uses a custom xml file.

Terrific tool. It took about an hour for us to customize the colors, size, and fonts to our liking. Pretty straight forward to use. The xml is very easy to follow. It took me a little digging to find where to change the size of the thumbs (we used 160 X 100 instead of 100 X 100 ), but for the most part is was pretty easy to do. It would be nice if you’d add specific step-by-step instructions on how to change the size of the thumbs and then how to make the text fit with the resized thumb.

Hi,

Trying to figure out how to combine this news feed file with Fullscreen

The fullscreen works fine without the news feed, but with it, either being called or as an mc on the stage, the content flies off the page when resized.

Has anyone has this problem?

Both files work great on their own, just trying to combine.

Is it possible be to make each news box autosize in height according to the amount of text/content you add?

How much would it cost to make that possible?

@the height of the news box autosizes in height according to the amount of text/content which can see in the demo that some of the boxes have larger height.

It cannot autoscroll.

The advantage to your file is that it supports images.

Is there a chance to make each new news heading and date to be a different colour?

i.e. red, pink, yellow, blue, green and then starting again with red

no, you will have to keep order of dates in the xml file or you can edit the actionscript to order dates.
