This is a limited display XML news display. It gives a 200 character preview of the article until you click it. When you click the node, it brings up your full article w/ a close button. I am using fuse in this project, so go ahead and download fuse for free at http://mosessupposes.com/Fuse

Open the movie clips to edit the styles. Change background colors, text colors, glow colors, easing functions etc.

Enjoy.

Great file. Only issue. I seem to be having problems with cache. When I upload an updated XML file I never see the changed text. Any ideas?

Yes, you need to clear your cache..it will be in your browsers preferences or internet options.

Just change the size of the movie clips to the size you want.

excuse me…I changed the size of the movie, (just click on the stage and in the properties panel, hit the size button and change it to 250width 400 height) and then i changed the size of stage too. But the text comes deformed and it is impossible to read it. How I can reorganize all but render leggibile the text? thanks

Are all the articles in one xml file or can there be multiple files? I would like one article per file with all of them references in a master xml file. Can it do that?

@dtrachtman: With modification it can use two. I cant think of a good reason why you would want to do that though.

Can this work with blogspot? Has anyone tried? Also can we link it to the actual posting in a new window instead of opening the blog entry in flash?
