That is remarkable, I love how when you swing the container with all of the images it stretches as if inertia has reacted on the width of the container. Remarkable.

This does however use a technology that I am after, when you click on a photo it is then loaded into the main container – not during a pre-load. Thus making the user only have to wait for the images they desire.

Would you be willing to direct me to a tut that teaches such a technique. Thanks for the help.

Greg Everything you need is within the help files that come with flash. Using programing, one can manipulate movieClips in almost every conceivable way to create the behaviour you are interested in. The thing is is that programatically, you have more options to manipulate movieClips than manually. Look into actionScript’s MovieClip Object, its function and methods within flash help.

Very nice effect. I can see in my mind how if they were closer together you can acheive a nice flag effect.

I would use bitmap displacement to make a flag effect. much more appropriate.

got the image gallery to work. It seems like the gallery resizes the images, can you tell me how to remove it so i can keep the images in their original sizes for better quality?
