Make it easy for clients to update content in your Flash movies by using this super easy-to-use solution. Not only can clients edit/maintain content in a basic .txt file, but you or your client can also style the text using a .css file!
This is a great way to update text very easily without the need to open any Flash files.
There are three files in total. Obviously, your .swf Flash file. And then a .css file to control your text formatting, and finally a .txt file that contains your content.
Simple. Easy. Enjoy!

@marcob Yes! You can change the hyperlink color to whatever you want. That’s the beauty of using CSS , easy to update!

Its a bit hard to have mainly images though, they all sit on top of each other, What happems if I don’t want most of the text – and more vertically scrolling images?
I cant seem to solve it in css or with line breaks.
Please help.

In actual fact,
Wouldn’t a straight up html file be better for formatting the structure than a text file (for us designers) – is this possible?

OK, last time I bug you!
I cant add any extra images – this is a shame. I dont just want one image, I want 3 – the file will not let me format 3 images, no matter how i try.
I just loose text, only parts of the image are displayed etc. This file is only easily editable as long as you dont want to add or do anything to it!
Please help.

Im sorry!
This line of code does indeed fix all when placed in your content mc’s actionscript.
Now i can add many images and still see everything!
You must add this fix because even the image being displayed above is not the actual size of the image in the folder.
Its being squashed by the other content – should be twice the height!

how do you include the “&” symbol within the .txt file without it ending the remaining copy?

Is there a way to make the “dragger” and “scrollTrack” not visible when the content is smaller than the “mask”?

i can only type a certain amount of text and then it doesnt show up when scrolling down anymore…..detailed help please anyone!!

Except where explicitly stated this file is entirely the work of scottwills. The author has indicated that any images / sounds / video / flash used which are not the author's work have been appropriately licensed for resale.
Think this file has infringed someone else's copyright?
