I really like it…..cool viewer.
However…...isn’t there always one of them..lol…...I would change the Bottom headline to the top and make a little arrow to signal the next news item…I think people would get confused seeing the top headline and thinking that was the headline they are presently on.
I would also put a facility for auto slideshow which is essential on news viewers.

Ok sorry….viewing it again I see neither are the headline but rather the previous/next story headlines. thats neat but maybe facility to add in Previous Story/ Next Story to it before each headline comes up in the XML ???
I know it would be difficult although hard coding it to slide over depending on the size of the headline through xml.

actually adding “previous/next story” in before each title is not difficult at all. in fact its quite easy (a text field and a few lines of code). if u buy it, i can make the changes for u. but i believe that it would somewhat diminish the impact of the news viewer as a whole (design wise). but hey, thats just my opinion 
. ive actually had arrows at the end of each title item at some point in the development of this component (a frequent suggestion among my friends, “my tester team” 
) but eventually i removed them for the same reason as stated above.
as for the auto slideshow option, although its also doable, i wouldnt call it “essential”. ive seen a lot of news viewers (some with a lot of sales) that dont have this option.

I really like the clean design and movement of this, however I do agree with eirehotspur.. small arrows would be pretty essential for this to be a good user experience and doubt it would diminish from the overall design. Though as you said, very easy to add.

I really like it, very good work ! I will probably buy it soon but I need to know a few things. Is it possible to change the size (width) because I’d like to put it in a sidebar (200px large). The description would be under image, not beside. Is it possible for the buyer to change that ? This is the first time I come her so I don’t know if you give the fla or just the swf file.

Hi there Just got the file, nice simple news viewer. 1. how can I have a transparent BG 2. how can I change the size, I changed the xml but the file didn’t change.

if i understand corectly u want to load a swf instead of the jpg thumbnail.
u should start with changing the path to the external content inside the .xml file ( ex. change “images/01.jpg” to “
swfs/01.swf“

No, I meant making the thumbnail a clickable link to load SWF or JPG into another level or target – but I figured it out after some trial-and-error.
