New Features:

Only open Sub-Menus and close Previous Sub-Menu and Open the new Sub-Menu
speed of opening and closing of sub-menus is configuable through xml parameters.
Now a main menu item cannot have a Sub-Menu and assign a link to it through xml file.
You can use it in any file by just dragging the movieclips to the desired file.
A very comprehensive 2 pages MS word format documentation is included in the download files explaning everything.
Fonts are included in the download files.

Regular Features:

XML based so you can easily change the menu labels and links
Easily customizable as you have to modify two movie clips
You can use it inside another file easily as there are no reference to the _root timeline
Coding is fully commented to help you make changes according to your needs.
This is very similar to the left menu of flashden.

Flash MX 2004 (7+)
Export to Flash Player 7+ with Actionscript 2.0

yes the parameter of the URL is through xml. An example of xml node used in this file is:

<item id="1" label="History" url="http://flashden.net"/>

Hello I just purchased the version 2 of the accordian menu. It works well the only question that I would like answered is can the buttons be spread out instead on top of eachother. Can it be modified to add space between the menu buttons? If so how can I do this and if there is a charge with that let me know my email is javier_myline@yahoo.com let me know how much and I can pay you

Hello, would it be possible to call a function via the xml file? For example I currently have the following assigned to a mc. I would like to assign it to a menu item. Is this possible?

Nvm, Found out myself that the first one auto opens.

I changed openMenu(this.menu0); to openMenu(this.menu1); to get 2nd menu to open first.
