It’s a simple XML gallery with support for categories. Simply add the category attribute to the XML entry. Here is an example of a typical xml node in the file;

The categories don’t need to be in any order, you just add nodes that look like the one above and put them in any order you want. The swf will root out all the categories from the XML and get a pic from each category to use as it’s thumbnail.

You can add as many categories and as many pics as you like. You can also resize it or set it to fullscreen mode (the gallery can adjust to use the extra space).

Hello geoken…Nice gallery.

Is there a way you can add some info to each image?

can we add a button to go to the main menu?? I really need it…

You would have to modify the code a bit.

You could re-run the function that set’s up the main menu, but you’d have to add some extra code to hide the UI elements.

wow, its very cool. i would get it but as previouse statements just needs a little more to be helpfull. a would like if ( plus all before talked) content could be ordered, for example in yore case by picture. it would be well valued in $20 just to be complete with this requests.

Hi,

When i add multiple categories, they seem to show up side by side and fall off the screen. This is not ideal for unlimited categories. as only the first 4 can be seen and clicked.

Shouldn’t the categories display in a grid with next page and previous page buttons to support unlimited categories?

Can you show how to amend the code to allow this to happen?

Cheers

Send me an email through my profile and I’ll send you the fixed file. The items will display in a grid and when they move to the side there will be buttons to scroll them.

I thought I updated the newest files but there must have been an error if you still have the old one. I’ll look into that, but in the mean time get in touch with me and I’ll forward you the updated version.
