This is a cool little example of how to make a different Flash menu.
- YOU NEED THE FUSE KIT TO USE THIS FILE – if you haven’t got Fuse, download it at http://mosessupposes.com/
Be sure to have Fuse installed and running when purchasing this file.
- and feel free to give him a little contribution for his excellent work :) – Fuse is open source, and I claim no rights for the development of Fuse, I just use it :)
This file is easy to use, the menu is dynamic – you can add as many items you wish.
All sorts of values can be changed (blur effect, time for transition, color of the active menu item etc.) You can also blur both horizontally and vertically.
Have fun
Hi I’d like to purchase your blur menu on flashden but nothing is showing.
All the best and Aloha from Hawaii
Jim Serles
PS I play with Fuse too

Hi, I bought your file called Blur Menu, I downloaded it but I’m having the swf only not the original fla. I contact Flashden to fici the problem. What happens with you and Flashden, 2 errors on the same file sounds strange…

Maybe they are frustrated because I just withdraw some money
I’ll send you the file – but it should be in the zip file, so it’s Flashden’s mistake!

OK, just purchased the menu. looks great! i have no idea how to link the buttons. any tutorials?

What do you mean with “link the buttons”? There’s an “onRelease” function for every button, that’s where you should put actions for the buttons.

I have purchased your file but there is no instruction on where to find the “onRelease” function. I can’t locate it anywhere in the ActionScript or anywhere on the stage. Please HELP … my deadline is tomorrow and i need these buttons to work. I am trying to use the buttons to go to a frame in flash. Thanks!

The onRelease is inside a loop creating the menu. Just search for “onRelease” in the code.

Prior to clicking, how would I set a button to an active state when the movie loads? For example the HOME button at initialization.
