This is a realistic lightning effect, with thunders.

The lightnings are buildind dynamically and randomly in actionscript.

You can edit:

  • The number of lightnings.
  • Color and glow of lightnings.
  • Also change the initial and ends positions of the lightnings.
  • Only 13kb including sounds.

Can it be resized without affecting the resolution? And the number of times the lightning strikes? Or even go fullscreen? It’s cool.

The lightning is builded dynamically, I used a recursive function to crete it, this is completely builded in AS (no bitmap, no image), you can use at any resolution, just put the initial and the end points, or put many initial and many end points.
