ADVANCED XML IMAGE GALLERY 2

Problem I have is that the image gets distorted. Different colors appear when I go to preview… everything else is fine. I’m using .jpg and all my dimensions match yours. Am I doing something wrong? Great file though, can’t wait to get it working right.

Is there any size restriction on the gallery itself?

i would like to integrate it within a functional webpage

Great file, just wondering is it possible to load more that one image at a time, that is in you can see the image on the right once you load up, at present you can only see the first image 1 on load, but I’d like the user to be able to see the slice of image 2 on the right [so it would load images1, image 2, image3 etc without having to click and load]. Is this possible??

Hi, I love this gallery and it fits in really well with a project I’m working on.

Just a couple of questions:-

1. Is it possible to have the header fixed view rather than roll over to view? How and where would I change this?

2. I know it’s possible to change the width of the scroll bar and distance between images but could you point me in the right direction to find the appropriate file to change?

QUESTION ..

HOW DO I SLOW DOWN THE THUMBNAILS WHEN I PLACE THE CURSOR ON IT ?

IT’S WAY TOO FAST AND MOST OF THE TIME IT TAKES A WHILE TO HIGHLIGHT THE IMAGE I WANT TO CLICK ON ..

Forgot to add about changing space between thumbs.

If you look right above the code for changing the amount of thumbs,

This is in gallery_mc on the actions layer you will see the following code

// Set spacing amount between thumbnail images var thumbSpace = 1;

Just change 1 to however much space you need.

-I change the size of the gallery, it loads fine by a single swf. -When i load it as an external swf the menu_mc, select_mc and fullscreen_mc are in different positions. Does this have something to do with the -x -y settings in AS? If anyone else was able to make it work please let me know how. thanks.

Ok, I figured this out on my own. You just need to add a crossdomain.xml to pull data from another domain. Also, if you dont have a hardcoded xml file and are serving it up over aspx, then all you have to do is set the aspx url to a variable in the AS of the .fla, THEN you can call the xml load on the variable.

Now all we have to worry about is the fact that it DOES NOT DO IMAGE RESIZING . Please note that in your description for this file. Also, might be helpful to note that you were too lazy to center images.

Ok, so I develed farther into the code. You can’t center images because of the photospacer correct?
