This is a custom accordion content viewer. In this example I load images but it is also possible to load and display interactive swf files.
How it works:
The basis of this application is the menu.xml file in the folder “xml”. Flash reads the xml file and then knows where the files are to load into the project. Flash also reads the labels to each content and the info text to the contents. Some settings can also be made in the xml file such as:
- alpha value of the black label background normal - alpha value of the black label background on mouse over - speed in seconds of the transition fading between the normal and “mouse over” state - speed of the animation in seconds of the content opening/closing when clicked - alpha value of the whole label with background when activated, currently set to zero, so it will completely dissapear when activated
How to add or change pictures or content:
To change content add a picture to the folder content or a subfolder. Go into the xml file and change the link in the tag the link has to go from the folder of the swf. file to the content like this: content/pictures/pic_04.jpgcontent and pictures would be the folders where pic_04 is located. And don´t forget to write also the correct file extension here .jpg . This could also be .png , .tiff , .gif or if it is a flash file .swf.
