good work but one or two questions : 1/ how to solve the problem of transparency lorsu been grows a little images? 2/ Why not add up the possibilities of text (with links url), that we could in turn on/off ? ... Because the price is expensive for a simple gallery photo ?!? Thanks.

awsome :)

@victor:

1. I’m not sure what you are referring to, but regarding images fading you need to adjust the inner Fade Radius and outer Fade Radius parameters of the 3D Scene component by simply selecting the component from the Stage, opening the Component Inspector Panel and adjusting various parameters.

2. You can link images to external URLs via the external XML configuration file.

Thanks!

@jimrobin

The configuration.xml file was loaded before the scene.xml file, that’s why you saw a black screen. I have updated the files to load the XMLs in the scene/configuration order and it will be available online shortly after FD review.

Hi, i want to know if it possible to control the shown item ( the firts on top ) via a button…

i mean, i have a menu with 3 buttons, item1, item2 and item3.

if i press 1, its is show the first ( item1 ), if i press button2 it goes to item2, if i press button 3 goes to item3 and if when im on button 2 or button 3.

Then, if i press a button that is linked to an item which is before the item showed does it come back or it goes forward cause they are looped?

im interesed in back movment!

@cl4udio:

Hello,

You can integrate custom button functionality to simulate the item press handler functionality. The current “pressed” item will be moved forward to the target point. Back movement is not supported, but you can try adjusting the code to achieve this.

hey! thanks for this.. tried to make my own but had no luck.. just one thing though .. I have moved it over to the other side by changing below xOffset to -35. This works fine except now if you press on one at the back the ones in front disappear straight away instead of tweening forward first, see http://www.flyingstandard.com/ then go to “press” page to see what i mean. thanks!

// adjust x,y and z distances between photos var xOffset = 35; var yOffset = -5; var zOffset = 40;

aw one more thing too. i cant see it but my client is saying the images squash up randomly when you press on one…they sent me this screenshot: http://mywork.mia-alanna.com/Figure%201.jpg

have you got any idea what it might be?

thanks!

Posted 3 months ago

@miaalanna: If you have external images with various width/height you need to reset the fixed image size option (var useFixedImageSize = 0;). You also have the possibility to align images to top/bottom (var alignImagesToBottom = 1; – default is bottom) and you also need to set the max image height parameter (var maxImageHeight = 250;) to have the images properly aligned to bottom.

@miaalanna: Regarding the first image issue – a new stack update will be posted in the near future and will fix the tween to be more accurate.

Can this auto animate on a loop. I will be purchasing this soon.

Posted 3 months ago

@alcrhis: The auto animate on a loop feature is not a default feature, but you can add this kind of functionality yourself to fit your project.

Posted 3 months ago

I am a novice at AS. Can you please give me instructions on how to auto animate or direct me to a tutorial.

Posted 2 months ago

Hi,

You can auto animate by creating a timer function that simulates the image pressing event at a time interval for example.

this is cool…

Is it possible to run two instances of the of the stack with each of featuring different menu options? Rr, maybe it can be the same items but in a different order or timing so they don’t appear next to each other?

Posted 2 months ago

@moaguilar: You can simply duplicate the Stack Movie Clip and achieve two stack Movie Clips, but you probably will need to adjust the size and various parameters to achieve the desired result.

Posted 2 months ago

@moaguilar: Or duplicate the code parameters, xml etc (supposing you can handle ActionScript) and achieve a second stack with it’s own parameters. You’ll then have two stacks in the same scene and one camera. In the above example you’ll have two different scenes with two different cameras.

hi, I bought this file, but for some reason the math that moves the stack is behaving erratically… If you click the ones further back, the will shift in the front correctly, however if you click the 2nd ones (which ever is right after the front), sometimes they just top mid way before it goes to the full size… Anyone else experiencing this bug?

@funkybudda: Any future updates will be available in the near future on the next flashtuning.net website.
