For ones of you who want to stick together some great panoramic pictures, I found this absolutely great and free little software.

Here’s the link: mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html”>http://www.cs.ubc.ca/mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html

Enjoy! ;)

This is really cool. Does it support vertical panning for spherical virtual tours?

Posted about 1 year ago

Thanks axanthus! :) I’m working on that ;)

Works great! So far it works with different size panos too.

Is this file loading an external swf file or is it reading a movie clip in the flash file?

I think it would be nice it was loading an external swf file so people can easily change the background.

Hello nagd! Sooo sorry about the one week delay(it’s holidays time of the year )! :p Right now, my file is reading a movieclip but it can be adjusted to loading an external picture(easy) :) If you read the actual documentation, you’ll see how easy it is even so to change the picture ;)

Maybe I’ll update this file…

Thanks! qb

can you do for AS3

Posted about 1 year ago

Just bought the viewer. Great file – just what I need, no more, no less!

Easy to work with for a complete noob like me. :)

One question: How do I change the viewer from 360 degrees to 180 degrees so a 180 degree photo doesn’t loop around when it reaches its left or right border?

Thanks again – good work, quickyboy

Is there any way to make it autoscroll?

Posted about 1 year ago

I love this component, if you port it to AS3 , I’ll buy that too.

All you need is a gun and some zombies shambling towards you and it will be a pretty cool game. Seriously though. good file.

Have looked at a few such viewers, this is by far the most simple and clean looking, so I joined and bought it…Yup! it works a treat!

Many thanks

Keep up this excellent work!

Hey Quickboy, still around? The viewer works great but want to know how to modify it to auto scroll and how to make it stop at the left and right borders of the image like for a 180 degree image rather than loop back around which is obviously intended for a 360 degree view.

Good Item

One question: the viewer of image with 180 degrees, it would like that it stops in the end of the image. No Loop, it is possible??

Many thanks
