AFTER EFFECTS PROJECTS

Hi guys,

I am looking for expressions of interest and ideas for AE project files for sale. Ive seen some on FD, and was wondering if people might find more of them useful. I was thinking of doing some title sequences and display videos etc AE project files that you would then be able to customize to your needs.

Please share your opinion or ideas and perhaps some suggestions for the kinds of products you would like to see, stuff you could use in your own work.

Post away, any suggestions or comments are helpful.

hedley, I dunno if you saw my most recent upload but I just posted a strictly project file and its only sold once but on the other hand its pretty basic. I plan to upload more and probably shift gears to project files only for a while…I think the community could really stand to benefit from customizable templates. And I can’t wait to see some from you.

Creative_sq I noticed had a featured project on a different site and I hope he uploads some projecty goodness here as well!

I saw your file xdozex, and it prompted this forum thread. I have been thinking about it since i joined FD and i agree that it could be really useful to members.

Im out of town at the moment so i wont have something up for at least a week, but ill make one and see how it goes. I think what might be hindering your file xdozex is that community members, who are not familiar with AE, might not understand exactly what your file is or how they might use it. When i first saw your file i thought it would be great as a banner movie displaying a websites latest products etc.

Keep the suggestions and comments coming and hopefully we can build a sort of ‘template’ for FD video members to work from when constructing their first trail files for AE.

Yeah, in designing the project files people would really need to think about how the end user is going to use them. So i would suggest no third party plug-ins and of course use your own footage etc.

Anyway, ill have a crack at it in the near future and see what results. I hope others have a go too, be great to see what people come up with.

I don’t know, sometimes you just can`t do something nice without third party plugs.And sometimes a nice plug makes your day.

I mean all logo animations and intros(stuff people go for) will be third party plugs, you can’t just animate a camera arround text, otherwise what`s the point of having the project file if you won`t see some sweet stuff in there?
